In an extremely deep, tall space, finding the right proportions is a challenge that we turn into a design tool. By modulating it according to uses and floors, the space is transformed into a new scale. Without ignoring attention to detail, we focus on finding elegance and surprise via technique.

New York Burger Barcelona draws inspiration from an image: Brooklyn row houses: low-standing attached residential brick buildings in a row. The concept contrasts two ideas: the urban and the domestic. The urban, industrial elements are found on the ground floor, while the more private, domestic atmosphere is on the upper floor. The staircase thus becomes a key point connecting the two levels, so it seeks an aesthetic that encourages circulation and is a unique hallmark in itself.
New York Burger is growing, migrating and expanding. The urban and the domestic fuse via the image of Brooklyn brownstones, with a more urban ground floor and a more refined, cosy, simple upper floor.
On the ground floor, the inspiration of NY’s metal architecture guides us to design wire arcades which bisect the space visually, organise the space and its uses and makes a nod to the more industrial side of NY. The brand legacy is captured in ash colours, country wheat and the combination of materials.
On the first floor, the aesthetic evolves towards a more sophisticated atmosphere with warmer, more neutral textures and colours inspired by the rooftops of NYC.
